Common questions

Will the layout match exactly?

Not always. Complex fixed layouts may reflow, so review the document afterwards.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

Yes, through OCR in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese. Check OCR results, because recognition is not perfect.

What is the provenance file?

An optional JSON record of how the document was reconstructed, which you can download with it.
