How your images stay private

Your images are opened and changed by this browser tab. They are not uploaded anywhere.

Location (GPS), camera details and other hidden information are removed from resized images. GIF, BMP and TIFF images are saved as PNG unless you pick another format.

Images over 40 megapixels are refused before opening to keep your browser responsive.

How to resize an image

Common questions

Will my image stretch?

Only if you turn off Keep proportions, which resizes to the exact width and height you enter.

What is the largest size?

Up to 16,384 pixels per side and 40 megapixels.

Which format do I get?

You can choose. GIF, BMP and TIFF save as PNG unless you pick another format.
